Fall Farmer's Market Trip

I love fall, especially when it feels like fall. In South Carolina, we often have balmy fall seasons that feel more like August or July,  but there's nothing better than feeling the humidity growing less and going to football games! I also love Starbucks in the fall! Unfortunately, since this trip, our weather has grown warmer and more humid.
Something new I did this fall was go to an early Saturday morning farmer's market with a few friends. We dressed in our fall clothes and snapped a few pics in the park after our fun trip. I can't wait to go again! They had gorgeous flowers and fruits and even pumpkin spice peanut butter which many of my friends are obsessed with!
We also stopped by a crepe restaurant for breakfast. It was delicious and so fun and cute! We loved it so much, that we will probably go again many more times! They had savory crepes we could grab for lunch or dinner, but that day I just tried the plain crepe to taste the actual pastry.

Here are some beautiful fall flowers I picked up.

I really enjoyed my crepe for breakfast!

We took gorgeous fall pictures in the park.
Outfit details:
This bell sleeve top which is almost sold out, (similar). I also wore these jeans which are on sale, and and this necklace that I wear daily. I also wore these taupe flats from Target a few years ago and some pearl earrings.

Winter Favorites

So ya'll, pretty much all I have worn lately are these Lilly sweatshirts, Bean Boots, and jeans. These are the most comfortable and versatile items. I literally relax in the sweatshirts over my pajamas too! I was wondering if ya'll could comment for the kind of posts you would like to see! I'd love to try to post a lot more, but I really need some inspiration. Thanks so much and enjoy the pictures!

Bean Boots are my favorite for fall and winter

These are my favorite Sweatshirts in all the world!

New Year's Resolutions and Recommendations

This year I'm planning to spend more time reading. Reading novels, but especially my Bible. I have read the Bible through three times, but have failed the last two years. I really need to redeem myself this year! So, I have a new book to help me through called Table Talk.

Table Talk is a Ligonier Ministries monthly magazine which includes daily devotions and also the reading to be done each day! Here is a sample page:

Using this and my Bible, I can have a great year!

Reading for fun, is always one of my enjoyments. Some of my favorites are the classics especially Jane Austen novels. The day after Christmas, I stopped into Anthropology to look at the deals. In the clearance section, I spied these beautiful Jane Austin novels, "Emma" and "Sense and Sensibility".

I was ecstatic, because I was in the middle of "Emma". (In fact I still am 😀). I just love the beautiful prints and colors of them, plus they were on a great sale and hardback! They were a win win!

Another resolution for this year, is my violin. I have played the violin for nine years. This year I really want to improve more quickly, I have lots of new repertoire that I need to learn quickly. Such as this:

This Bach Corrente has some difficult chords, anyway I really want to improve this year.

Finally, I want to improve in blogging. I had these blog for a whole summer and only posted twice. This is why now I've created an instagram and I'm going to post more! Here I'm going to include a peek at my next post.

Hope you've enjoyed this post.

Life Update

Hey all,
I haven't posted in ages, but I'd like to start to again. I have been so busy in school this year. I am so thankful that this semester is nearly over! I hope to start uploading some preppy Christmas outfits soon, so look for those. I hope that I am able to post more in the future. I've had a great, but busy year this year. I have played my violin "to death." In fact, I had three concerts and a recital this week, I have a gig and another concert next week. I'm so exhausted, but grateful for these experiences I have had this semester. I hope ya'll have had a great semester! I have three ways to  improve your exam experience coming up soon! I also have some blog recommendations. Check out, http://dailydoseofpreppy.blogspot.com/ and http://dailydoseofpreppy.blogspot.com/. These are my two favorite blogs and I also follow their instagrams. I hope to get an instagram soon to update my OOTDs and to update when I post. I hope to make this blog more accessible and interesting. If any of ya'll have any ideas for posts or how I can make it more accessible, please comment below!
Thanks ya'll, ]
